A gentle invitation to explore how a doula can support your path to parenthood
From the moment you discover you’re pregnant, something begins to shift. You’re already a parent, making choices that shape the way you welcome this new life into the world. How you prepare for birth reflects who you are, what you believe in, and how you wish to grow as a family.
As a doula, I’m here to walk alongside you through this beautiful, powerful journey, to offer presence, grounding, and care as you find your way.
Who is a Doula?
A doula is a birth companion who offers emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum. I’m not a midwife or doctor; I don’t make medical decisions. What I bring is something else: warmth, calm, and reassurance when you need it most. A soft hand on your back, a breath when yours feels shaky, a reminder of your strength when things feel intense.
What to Expect When We Work Together
During pregnancy, we’ll meet around 3 to 5 times, each session a gentle space to explore what’s happening in your body, mind, and heart. We’ll stay curious and open, asking:
- What kind of birth feels right for us?
- How do we want to feel, and what can we do to create the conditions for that?
- What helps us feel safe, supported, and prepared?
Together, we’ll look at:
- The physical and emotional changes you’re going through
- What labor is, and what might happen along the way
- How to cope with pain, pressure, or moments of uncertainty
- Ways to bring in breath, movement, massage, and your partner’s support
By the time your birthing day arrives, you won’t just have a plan—you’ll have trust in yourself, your body, and your choices. You’ll know what matters most to you. And I’ll be there beside you—to gently remind you of everything you already know.
Why Choose a Doula?
Because birth is not just a medical event.
It’s a life-changing, soul-opening, deeply human experience.
Studies show that having a doula can:
- Shorten labor
- Reduce the need for interventions
- Increase your satisfaction with your birth.
- Improve bonding and confidence in early parenting

But even more than the science, many families say:
“We felt held.”
And that, to me, is the heart of it all.
You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported in one of the most sacred transitions of your life. You deserve to give birth in a way that honors you, your body, your baby, and your path.
If this speaks to you, or if you feel a soft “yes” in your heart, I’d love to meet you and hear your story.
With love,
Ayelet
